Organic Farm products directly from the farmer
Marxenhof has been a certified organic farm since 1999. We grow our fruit and vegetables by hand and sell them straight from the field, as they are usually harvested and sold on the same day. In addition to various processed products such as jams and dried fruit, there are also eggs from the hens that live in the henhouse among the apple trees.

Our farm shop has a new self-service system called ‘Lokbest’, with which you can buy fresh organic fruit, vegetables and eggs around the clock from Monday 11:00 to Saturday 18:00, flexibly and independently of fixed opening hours.
Important: The ‘Lokbest’ app is required to use the self-service offer. Simply download it, register – and get started!

Farm café & farm shop (with service)
In addition, Greta will spoil you with coffee, freshly baked cakes, cookies and sourdough bread on Fridays from 14:00 to 19:00 and Saturdays from 09:00 to 12:30 – directly in the farm café or to take away in the farm shop.

Greta bakes delicious sourdough bread for the farm shop. Marianne, Greta and Elisabeth take it in turns to bake the cakes for the farm café. You can enjoy good home-made juices, regional and organic beer and wine as well as coffee from the CAROMA roasting house in Fiè allo Sciliar on the terrace in front of the farm shop.

It all started with the dream of autarky, self-sufficiency and independence. As challenging and time-consuming as direct marketing is, the greater the satisfaction and feedback from customers, the customer contact and the financial independence. The farm shop and farm café, which Greta and Matthias opened in August 2023, is an important new branch of the “Marxenhof” farm. Matthias realised the idea of the farm shop during his studies. Greta, who had previously thought of a children’s café, finally came up with the idea of the farm café. Together, it took some time until the common path was mapped out. But it was done. Greta and Matthias planned and designed the farm shop together. It was furnished with high-quality natural materials made of wood, stone and black iron.

Our range of fruit and vegetables is orientated to the seasons. The vegetables are produced according to the strict guidelines of Bioland and Demeter.
